How a voracious reader with zero pro training became a world-class writer

It was a simple philosophical debate that led Amish Tripathi to write a thesis which later on turned into a best-selling book. “The Immortals of Meluha,” the title reads, “The story of Hindu God, Shiva.”

Amish grew up in a middle-class, religious household and spent most of his childhood devouring history books. After graduating from one of the most prestigious universities, the Indian Institute of Management, he spent 14 years in the financial industry as a marketing and product manager.
