A short take on why you should take your business seriously

Have you noticed how we don’t hesitate to take out a loan when it comes to life goals?

• Getting a new car? Take a small loan.
• Wedding? Another trip to the bank.
• Buying a house? Everybody takes out a loan for that.

It makes sense. We are confident in our capacity to pay back our debts, so we choose not to delay important milestones.

Now here’s the kicker. When it comes to investing in a business, we hesitate. Let me repeat that. We hesitate to invest in the one thing that might change our lives forever.

Nothing beats financial freedom. Yet we prioritize houses and cars.

I didn’t ask for a big wedding (we eloped). I didn’t ask for a diamond ring. I never owned a fancy car or a designer purse. I’m lucky those things have never mattered much to me.
